Is there any added benefit to using the Vista instead of the Digital Album II, other than being able to preview thumbnails on the device? There is a $100 difference between the 20GB versions of each. I could definitely find a better use for that money.

Just remember, you MUST have either USB2 or firewire. If you don't have one yet, you'll eventually have a 1Ds or Kodak 14n, and downloading via USB will be overnight. Of course, the batteries don't last that long on them, either.
