I recently retired and finally have time to take advantage of my photographic equipment. Two years ago I purchased a Rollie 6008 with the standsard 80mm lens. Recently with the concept of using the Rollie camera I purchaed several addtional lens at a substantial cost. Since I intend to travel and make very good use of the camera would you recommend purchasing a backup 6008 not considering its cost. My concern, especially considering the Rollie as far as repairs, is that it would be wise to have this back up. Please offer your opinions. keep in mind I expect to get extensive use out of the Rollie 6008 I currently own.

The best and cheapest back-up for a MF camera is going to be either a MF range finder or a TLR. These can be had dirt cheap and take good pictures in a pinch. Doubly so, due to their size and lack of things to break. Fuji is coming out with a new MF range finder, btw - I'll probably buy it myself unless it's silly expensive.
