The link is there but it's not working. I would think it won't be long.

Since I started this post, let me say that the dealer finally got me a camera and ironically it had a bug that turns off the LCD screen when switching modes. My microdrive was recording images but i couldn't tell what my settinmgs were or how to change them. The display inside the viewfinder also when blank. As of yesterday, the dealer was calling Canon to determine what happened or what was causing this bug, Maybe the 20D is not readty fir prime time?

Saw on another site that Canon is releasing tomorrow a firmware upgrade to fix the lockup problem with the 20d. Now if I could only get my dealer to part with the damn camera…

still seems to be unavailable from Canon's site. Does anyone know when they might release the firmware?

Worked for me. Forums on dpreview have reported that the firmware had killed some cameras. Anyone here experiencing any problems? I loaded the firmware, which loaded fine, and then photographed a swim meet with no problems.
Good luck, all. It really is an awesome camera, isn't it?

Looks like there's a firmware fix to the firmware fix of the bug. If that doesn't make any sense, 1.05 is now up along with humble apologies (twice actually) from Canon for all the killed cameras. Anyhow it went fine for me, just be sure to follow the directions exactly.

Can someone please tell me why the 2.0.3 firmware link on this page.........
http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controlle...4&modelid=10464.........say it is of 0Mb in size and why it doesn't open?
I'm still on 1.1.0 and never had any real problems. But, I figured it's time I should upgrade. But, I can't download the software.
Help!
Thanks.
