I take it you have been stills for years (me too) me on vim most of my stuff is shot on the back of stills

is your magazine client interested in using on thier web ?

I really like stills photographers jumping on moving images with these cameras - we seem quite good !

Imagine taking a college film kiddie and saying 'you have to just practice lighting and composition for 20 years before you can even roll a camera'

Thanks Morgan, yeah, still photography for a long time for me rolleyes.gif the video thingi is new, soma linked my previous video and it is still on the front page, the second one on my blog http://www.mikekobal.com/blog (breathless) they are not set up yet to include videos, but i guess that will be our (photograper's) future, esp since i fear the mags are going to disappear.

Good stuff Mike. Soma is also well done.
I'm about to buy a D90 so your work is inspiring. I thought I'd keep my 8800 in the mix for the occasional video and the Live View but the D90 takes care of that.

Randy, thank you. Yup, the D90 rocks. But if I were in your shoes, would probably wait and compare it to the recently announced D5000. For video, the swivel LCD would be awesome.
cheers,

My Nikon 8800 has a swivel LCD, which I find a VERY useful feature, especially for ground-level Macro shots. Thanks for the tip on the D5000.
