Hello,

I'm looking for recommendations for a digital picture frame. I'm willing to pay a reasonable premium to optimize the image quality from a 14 megapixel APS C camera and I would like to reach at least an 8x10 inch or 8x12 inch format. My computer is a Mac OS X version 10.5.6 (Bluetooth capable) run on high speed internet with the Mac Wireless Extreme and I would like the operation between this computer and the digital picture frame to be as simple as possible. Do any of you have any suggestions? Thank you.

I cannot provide you with advice on what to buy as we bought ours 2 years ago or so and I am therefore not up to speed on these things as it's not on my to purchase soon list.

However, for simplicity, why not just load op the photos you want onto a CF card (or SD or whatever) and have the frame display the pictures directly from the card? When you want to add new pictures just take the card out upload from your Mac to the card and re-insert into the frame.

I concur with this statement, however, whichever way you choose to display your images, I can recommend the Kodak range of frames. I own a 10" Kodak and have had experience with other brands that were nowhere near as user friendly (multiple select, better menu's, automatic resizing for internal memory etc). Also the Kodak has a matte screen that you can view from any angle without getting reflections or contrast changes, (if you choose another brand, I would make sure it also has this before buying, otherwise believe me you will want to throw it in the bin).

Oh yes....and it is WiFi capable if you want to display images from you computer.

Cheers

Andrew and Brian,

Thank you. I will start by checking out the Kodak digital frames. Much appreciated.
