If you tell us what kind of templates you are looking for (free or otherwise), and the purpose of your site (show, sale, or both), we can offer better suggestions. It would also be helpful to know if you have already checked the popular sites such as flickr, smugmug, zenfolio, etc. which can handle everything, and what you think of them.

Questions and answers without any context are meaningless.

I agree with Chris, more information is essential to a good answer.

But, I will add that I have recently launched my own space using Lightroom Web-Module plug-ins that I got through The Turning Gate website and I have been quite happy with the results. All told, I spent $15 and got really nice results with only some minor tweaking of the code in Dreamweaver.

The individual galleries are TTG Slimbox, the index is the TTG Autoindex, the main pages were laid out with TTG LR Pages (plus tweaking).

Results: www.iancoxleigh.com

Now, this is just an online portfolio. I haven't tried to integrate shopping carts, payment systems, etc. . . Although, there are supposedly templates through TTG that allow that.
