Full Version: Photographic Technique with Prime with a prime lens on infinity

I have read an article with on Luminous Landscape or from this site to another site on using a prime lens set on infinity where a ratio of the lens size to aperture puts everything in the ratio in mm in focus. This was first written about last century.

Any clues where this article is or an original article of the site would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Aussiejim

Scroll down to the "DOF Formulas" about 1/3 down from the top.

If you are looking for the Circle Of Confusion, you usually find it in the art-related discussions on this forum.
