I just saw that 11.2.8 of Leaf Capture was posted (I've never seen these updates posted anywhere by Leaf prior to the new mgmt... i was hoping that would change).

It said that it was not Snow Leopard compatible. Is there any time frame for this release?

Hi

I tried to launch LC 11.2.4 in Snow Leopard to process some compressed MOS files but the intro screen came up and then nothing else happened so I was stuck with files I couldn't open in Photoshop.
Out of desperation I then tried launching LC 11.2.1 (I have the old versions still installed on my Mac) and it opened-up fine.

I only use LC for decompressing files for Camera Raw use (plus some noise and moire reduction) and I have only tried decompressing files so far, but until the Snow Leopard compatibility is fixed I will use LC 11.2.1.

If you only use Leaf Capture to decompress, you can use the Leaf Raw Converter; it's a separate application available for download. Obviously that won't help in the instances you want to do the noise and moire corrections.

Another 2-3 days and you will have a working version, hang in there:-)

I will be "stress" testing the new software this weekend under Snow Leopard on the Zoom Experience exhibition.
So it's almost there indeed, if it stays stable during this weekend I guess it's good enough for release.
On these kind of exhibitions a lot of files are shot, so we'll see how it works, but I don't expect any problems.

Shot a lot of frames today and the software seems rock solid.
Also in continous mode shooting no problems.
Software also feels a bit faster on the MacBook pro.
But for the mist people the mist important thing is that it runs under SL now.
