I don't think so; these "HDR Ultrachrome" inks are for the 7900 & 9900. Looks like the 7880 uses "UltraChrome K3" inks. It's the price of progress.

These are still available. Epson service left me with a set of smaller cartridges that I'll use first. Service reset the "damper" above the print head to ameliorate ink "clogs". Thanks, Ralph
