I have had a PM asking:

I'm considering mini view camera, and was wondering
how you provide power to H3dii-50 digital back
when used with Sinar p3?

I power my digiback from my laptop, via the Firewire cable.

There are external battery options which, I hope, other members will advise you on.

Linhof do a sliding back that has a position for a Hasselblad battery.

żAny other options?

The HD+ FireWire Power (BigWave) will do the trick. FireWire 400 and USB powered ports from Li-Ion battery. With a fully charged Hasselblad Li-Ion grip, expect about 3700 captures. Information is at the store section on Hotwire-Digital.

I can confirm this. The BigWave works great with my H3d-50.

I too have been using the BigWave power supply with Firewire 400-800 for H3D/H3DII.
