Hi there,
Heres a (sort of) newbie question:
I have recently returned to photography after many years, and naturally have forgotten most of the techniques used, particularly in use of the camera. The EOS 5 I had lured me into using the full auto 'dummy modes' (P), so of course I lost touch with controlling the camera to capture what I wanted to capture, and sadly became prone to accepting the decisions the camera made.....sounds like marriage actually
Now that is all behind me, I am now equipped with a good quality DSLR system, and now wish embark upon my journey of re-discovery.
My question is this, are there any good quality online resources free or otherwise, where articles can be read say in .pdf format? I live in the middle east and the restrictions on printed material sent by post are such that either they are confiscated or haphazard in their delivery at best. Therefore, while I am sure that there are many good books available from the likes of Amazon, the probability of actually receiving this is somewhere in the realm of 'pot luck', so I am restricted to reading online subject matter.
A few other points, my personal interest lies mainly in landscape or wildlife images, however in my secular position, I occasionally do industrial images for archiving. This has its own set of difficulties with high contrast situations as the norm (Bright light through windows, low internal lighting).
I would appreciate any help, comments or suggestions that anyone may have.
Tim
