The information is from the head of technical support at Minolta Canada.

All cameras shipped in Canada were upgraded to this new firmware release prior to shipment. I'm afraid that I don't have any information at this time about what Minolta U.S. or elsewhere are up to in this regard.

Really appreciated the A2 review.  I want either this, or the 828, for the faster AF and shutter lag, compared to anything else out there.

But one thing, you mention is this R034 rev, but no one at KM USA knows about it.
