I use a smugmug basic account ($30/yr) to host my family's picture website, primarily to share with distant family & friends.  I find it VERY easy to use, and well worth the money spent.  If and when I desire to go for a more professionally oriented website, I will likely use the high end smugmug account.  I've made websites before from scratch, and it was frankly a pain to update and maintain it as time went on.  This is much easier; creating a new gallery now is just click, type a name, and upload pictures--done.  Count me in as a very satisfied smugmug user.  Our website is at:

Good luck!

Thank you gentlemen.  I'm thinking I will open an account in the next few days with them.

Also, Boku, I really like your Clevland Flats work.  I've always been a sucker for a nice sky and a bridge.

(Sorry if this issue has been covered before, I searched for it but couldn't find it)

Does anyone here have any experiance with smugmug.com for hosting purposes?  I've heard fairly consistent good things about it, and the price and feature set looks good.  I just figured I would ask those wiser than I.

Thanks,

I use it. I have a professional account. I think it is the best solution for my situation. Highly recommended.

Thank you. I almost forgot that stuff. The only day of the year that the sunset aligns perfectly with the mutiple bridges is Summer Solstice, 6/21. If the weather is bad, nothing happens till next year.

2004 was very good year!
