Long shutter speeds. Stop down the aperture to use a shutter speed of 1/4 second or more.

Tripod is required.

MU doesn't hurt, that's for sure.  I generally use it for speeds slower than 1/30th of a second, but once you start getting into minutes (not likely in this case, but...), then it doesn't matter so much again.
