Snapshots
An expedition to Antarctica is a serious undertaking, but it also has its lighter moments. You'll find my article on this trip here, and an archive of some of my published images here. This page is simply designed to show you some of the behind the scenes activities and personalities.

Anthony Hobbs and Steve Johnson set up a shot with the BetterLight back.
Our ship is in the bay, and other workshop members can be seen on the snow field
several hundred feet below this vantage point.

Both Tripods and Monopods were used when onshore...

Announcement
I have just announced, together with
the publication of this article on December 21, 2005, my next Antarctic photographic
expedition.
It will take place in February, 2007 and you can read more about it and place
yourself on the preliminary waitlist on the page titled Antarctic
Quest 2007.

More great snapshots and stories from our trip, by instructor
Jeff Schewe, are found on
PhotoshopNews.com. There is a trip
report as well as a Feature
Story.

A special word of thanks is due to Epson US
who provided us with several printers
ink and paper for use by expedition members onboard ship.
At the end of the trip these printers and supplies were donated to a local high school in Ushuaia.
