Fall Color Workshop
Great Smoky National Park
Workshop Photography by Jerry Witt
Jerry writes…
The workshop accomplished for me what I had hoped. I wanted to see how successful landscape photographers worked. The experience of "the shot’s not here, let’s go find it" was what I was after. It sounds kind of obvious to write it, but it was significant to me to see you look at a scene for what it was at that moment and make the decision to move on. I’ve also learned not to take a dozen shots of the same scene. It takes a long time to look through 600 images.
Steve and Chris were excellent both as resources and companions.
All images with D30 in Aperture Priority, evaluative mode at ISO 100. All images adjusted with levels and curves in Photoshop 6.1.
