Looking Back

The New Year is always a good time for reflection — for looking forward, but also for looking back — for summarizing and reviewing. This page therefore contains a personal selection of what I regard as my single best work this year in each of the five categories in which I specialize —Landscape,Nature,Travel,WildlifeandStreetphotography. Regular readers will likely already be familiar with them from previously published articles, but it’s interesting — for me at least — to see them on a single page. These photographs were all taken during 2001.

Landscape

Photographed with a Mamiya 7 II and 65mm f/4 lens on Provia 100F

Nature

Photographed with a Hasselblad ArcBody and 35mm Rodenstock lens on Provia 100F.

Wildlife

Photographed with a Canon EOS D30 and 100~400mm f/5.6L lens @ 400mm

Street & Documentary

Photographed with Leica M6 and f/4 Tri-Elmar lens @50mm on Ilford XP2 Super

Travel

Photographed with a Canon EOS D30 and 28~135mm f/3.5~f/5.6 IS lens
