Young Photographers

There is no question that making a living in photography is difficult.  Many things have changed since I started my career in photography.  I sometimes reflect that I must have had my studio and business in the golden age.  There was no internet, not sharing of images and the there wasn’t even FedEx.  Now every phone takes a picture.  More people are taking pictures than ever before.  Photographers are having a more challenging time making a living.
So, I thought it would be good to sit down with some young photographers and find out how they are doing and if they are able to make a living in photography.  I asked Katrin Eismann for help in arranging this and she was kind enough to find three SVA Graduate students to sit down with me and share their experiences.
