As a professional photographer since 1998, my path has been defined by an insatiable appetite to grow as a human being. At its core photography is a simple act. Yet by exploring the world through the subtleties of this medium, the practice of photography has become a survey of my own existence. Is it just me, or are the best things in life counterintuitive? In my camera work I try to set aside ‘the self’ and get out of the way, while listening keenly to help see a subject with fresh eyes.
Based in Melbourne, Australia; I’m fortunate to have photographed assignments in Singapore, Tokyo, Europe and the U.S. Not content with limiting photography to just my vocation, I continue to pursue a variety of personal projects which marry the fields of portraiture, architecture, landscape and street photography.
