UPDATE – MAY 2010

I would like to announce that I will be closing my gallery / print studio in Toronto shortly. There are a couple of reasons for this, including the move of my studio to near Creemore, Ontario, where I will be working and teaching from now on during the summer months.

Beginning this winter I will also be spending several months each year in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico where I also expect to do teaching and workshops.

Watch for announcements on schedules for private as well as group sessions in both locations.

High quality fine-art printing can be mysterious. The learning process can also be expensive and tedious. Yes, there are courses available. But sometimes what one wants is an in-depth and personal look at the process, along with the ability to make a really fine print from ones own file.

That’s whatPrinting One-on-Oneoffers – an opportunity to work side by side with photographer and educatorMichael Reichmann, and to work together to make prints of your own image files. From raw processing through colour management, paper choices, soft proofing, quality evaluation, sharpening, Camera Raw and Lightroom, Photoshop technique, sizing, matting and framing – you will not just observe but will be a participant in the production of a number of large format prints –yourprint ofyourimage file.

These sessions arecompletely personalizedto your interests and needs.
