I don’t know about you, but I love looking at good photographs.  Photographs inspire me to think differently and shoot differently.  My friends at PhotoPills have now released the PhotoPills Awards 2022 Legacy book in PDF form, which is FREE.

You can download the book and past year’s books at the Awards Section of the PhotoPills website.

An amazing app that does so much to help you make better photographs
An amazing app that does so much to help you make better photographs. This information is from where I live.

You need to catch up if you haven’t heard of PhotoPills.  PhotoPills is one of the most helpful photography apps out there, and it works beautifully on iPhone, iPad as well as Google devices.

One of the most remarkable features is AR (Augmented Reality).  You’ll find this feature so cool.  You point your device at a scene, and it overlays where the sun, Moom, and the Milky Way will be at certain times.  It’s very slick.

I’ll do an updated overview of the PhotoPills app later this year, but in the meantime, check out the PDF Awards Book, and then, if you haven’t, add the app to your devices.  You’ll find it addictive to use all the time, even when you aren’t taking photos.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
