I continue our Conversations With series this week with a chat with John Pannozzo of ColorByte Software. As you probably know if you read this site regularly I am a firm believer in the print. Thus the reason why John and I have become friends for many years.
ColorByte Software develops Imageprint which for me has become the essential and critical tool for making prints on my Canon and Epson printers. This software that I have discussed in previous articles, ImagePrint By Colorbyte, ImagePrint Video Two, Cut It Out – A Very Cool Paper Cutter is what I use every day.
By far this software has the best color profiles for printing that I have ever encountered or seen. I have made a lot of paper profiles in my day but gave it up years ago once I started using ImagePrint. This software allows the user flexibility in the set-up of the interface and is a great visual layout tool for placing images on paper. The previous videos above explain this in great detail.
In this conversation, it’s a catch up with John on what he’s been doing and what he has been working on. Of particular interest is Cut It Out and a cloud-based system for artists and photographers to sell their work.
John and I are also working on future Fine Art Printing Workshops. In these workshops, we will cover everything for making fine art prints with Canon and Epson printing. We will announce these workshops that will be held at our Indianapolis Studio and Gallery when it is safe for all of us the gather in the same space safely.

Final Words
As you can see from the video John and his team are hard at work on some cool projects. Here at PXL, we have received the new Epson P700 printer and we just finished the video on this printer and will have an article on this printer and why it is such a great at-home printer. We will also feature an article on Epson PrintLayout software that allows printing from your iPhone or iPad.
We might be in the middle of a pandemic but there certainly is a lot going on in the photo industry.
