Today we continue with our conversations series. This is a series of Zoom video meetings with photographers and industry vendors. We talk about what we have been doing while in lockdown, as well as how the Covid-19 crisis has changed our outlook on business. There is no doubt that everyone has been affected by this crisis, and photographers especially have been hit hard.
We visit with Steve Gosling today. Steve is a long time friend who I have traveled with done many workshops together. He’s a fun, positive, and energetic person with a great eye and approach to photography. He contemplates his shots and does a lot of thinking about the shot and how it should be made. In my travels with Steve, I have found that while I am running from one possible shot to another, he looks around, finds a subject, and he will meticulously work the image until it is perfect. He’s the true walking definition of the contemplative photographer.
