Many of you know of my love for Antarctica.  I have made over 25 trips there.  I got married on a beach in Neko Harbor to my wife Debra there.  Antarctica is my happy place.

In February 2019, we did our last Antarctica trip and within two weeks of getting home, the world shut down.  It has left me wanting these last few years as we suffered through the pandemic.

Well, enough is enough, and it is time to get back to Antarctica.  This February 11-18, 2023, I will host another workshop in Antarctica for up to 20 adventurous souls aboard my favorite ship the Ocean Nova.

This is a fly over the Drake Passage trip.  By flying we save 5 days of traveling, in what can be one of the roughest patches of the sea on the planet.  Once we land, we take zodiacs out to the ship and our adventure begins.

You can view information about The February Antarctica Photography Workshop at Rockhopper Workshops.

Zoom Meeting

Please join me along with Otto Lock from Antarctica 21 this Wednesday, June 1st at 6:00 PM (eastern) time for a Zoom meeting where we will share information about this trip along with answering questions you may have.

Obviously, we are still in challenging times, but the world is opening up and it’s time we get back out there.  Please come and visit with us.  Even if you aren’t ready for an Antarctica trip I’m sure you’ll find the discussion informative.

You must register to attend this meeting.  To register, please use the link below.

Closing Thoughts

If there is one thing we should have learned from the pandemic is that life is short.  I know I have reevaluated many things of importance in my life.  I have a Do It Now And Not Later attitude these days. Hope you can join us on Wednesday, June 1st at 6PM.  RSVP with the link above.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
