Art Wolfe is one of my great friends. We have traveled to the corners of the planet together, leading photo workshops. Art is a true photo artist. His background is art, and it influences how he pursues his photography. He has published over 100 books in his career, and I am proud to have many of them in my library and on my coffee table. I don’t know any photographer who is constantly working on several book projects like Art.
This new book weighs around ten pounds and has over 350 pages. Essays in the book that are quite moving and informative are by Gregory Greene. The amount of images in the book is staggering. I have never seen a book with so many different types of wildlife in one place. The color reproduction is perfect, and the paper selection is opaque and adds richness to each image. This is a one-of-a-kind book.

I look through this book and see many places where I was with Art when some of these images were made. They bring back great memories of truly incredible moments.
