This video was shot in mid-August, 2009 at Leica’s Solms, Germany manufacturing plant in a clean room room where the first of the Leica M9s were being assembled and tested.
Our small group of web journalists were given unprecedented access to shoot in Leica’s manufacturing and testing facility, but, as this was a walk-through tour rather than a formal filming session the quality of this video is somewhat compromised – all hand-held, on-camera audio, and no chance for cut-aways and the other niceties that make for good video production practice.
Turn up your audio or put on some headphones so that you can better hear what is being described.
This video was shot with a Panasonic GH1 and Lumix lenses.
