Meredith Reinker - Partner At Roberts Camera
Meredith Reinker – Partner At Roberts Camera

If you have been a photoPXL reader for a while you know I have a great relationship with the folks at Roberts Camera in Indianapolis, Indiana. Roberts Camera is only a 20-minute drive downtown for me. I equate a visit to Roberts like going to the hardware store with my dad as a boy. It’s a place where photographers hang out and one of those special places where is you ask for something odd they most likely have it.

A few years ago the also formed UsedPhotoPro, now one of the largest used camera stores in the country. We did a video about UsedPhotoPro, Get It Used – Used Photo Pro. Check it out as I think you’ll be surprised at the size of their store and the interest in used camera gear.

Today I have a Zoom call with Meredith Reinker, as part of our Conversations With series. Meredith along with her father are partners in Roberts Camera. She has endless amounts of energy and a super friendly personality. Meredith is not afraid of change and she embraces it knowing that going forward all of us are in for big changes, especially in photography.  Along with her dad Bruce Pallman, they make Roberts what it is.

The gang at Roberts is top notch and you may have seen our On The Rocks series with Jody Grober and Phil Gibson. We will be doing a NEW virtual On The Rocks in the next week. Stay tuned for that one. Catch the old episodes on YouTube.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
