We have been getting great responses from our Conversations With series. I have been suffering from cabin fever and not being able to travel has turned me into a grumpy old guy. As a result, I have taken to doing a lot of projects. One of these is our conversations series.
I have received a lot of feedback about this series with recommendations of photographers that I should have a conversation with Paul Reiffer. So, I reached out and Paul and I had an initial conversation and found we had a lot in common. So, we scheduled a time to do a conversation that we could share with you.
We discuss many things about photography including photography workshops, iconic location photography and seeing different. One of the things we share is about seeing differently at these iconic locations. I call it ABL, Always Be Looking and it essentially is always be looking around. I remember I was shooting Ayers Rock in Australia. I was concentrating on the rock, yet behind me, the sky and scene were something the likes I never saw before. So, since that day I have always looked around me up and down as well as behind.
