SEASONS

Pretty much all of Cusco is safe to walk in and shoot street scenes. Anytime of the year is good for this. I understand Christmas is especially pretty, but I have never been there at that time of year. The phrase,“¿Foto? Propinita,”(photograph for a tip), can be heard coming from mothers who come there to show off their children, dressed up in lovely native outfits. A fee of one nuevo sole is expected for the photo-op.

TIMES

Any time on a cloudy day. Early morning or night on a sunny day.

LENS & FILTERS

LENS: 24-70mm lens on a full frame camera or 16-50mm lens on a crop sensor camera

FILTER: none needed
