For some people December can be a depressing time. For many peoplethisDecember brings fears of economic hard times and a global depression. But, life goes on, and so must business.

To put a little cheer into your month, and to stimulate our business, we are holding aDecember Anti-Depression Contest.

Our prize is either aNikon D90or aCanon XSi Rebel. We have recently reviewed both of these fine cameras and now are making our review cameras available as prizes in this contest. If you win, you get to choose which camera to receive. (Body only).

Our Training Videos, Tutorials and Magazine Format DVD and Downloads

In addition to this web site and its free content and videos we publish a series of download and tutorial videos. We also publishThe Luminous Landscape Video Journal, a magazine format video production that’s available on both DVD as well as download.

The purpose of this contest is simple. We would like you to cheer up a bit this December, improve your photography, and also help our business through your purchase.

"These tutorials have made my understanding of much of the digital world so much easier.
It is far easier to watch these two experts and learn than trying to understand from some of the ‘encyclopedias’ that are on the market, and at a price that is excellent than value for money."

What to Do To Win

It’s simple. Buy something fromOur Online Store. Every purchase made is a chance to win. Each product, whether purchased individually or separately, is a separate entry in the contest. We will count purchases already made during the month of November, and new ones made right through till midnight on December 31st. On January 1st we will be announcing the winner, and your camera will be Fedexed off to you, no matter where in the world that you live.

The Fine Print

There’s always fine print, right? There isn’t much, but here it is.

This contest is open to anyone in the world, except where prohibited by law. The prizes must be accepted as awarded. There is no cash value. Shipping is included to anywhere in the world, but any local taxes or import duties are the responsibility of the winner. The prizes awarded were obtained through retail channels and are not provided by either Nikon or Canon, who are in no way involved in this promotion. Both of these cameras were tested by Michael Reichmann but are otherwise in pristine condition with all boxes, accessories and documentation.

Any purchases made fromOur Online StorebetweenNovember 1, 2008 and January 1, 2009will be eligible.

And finally, to satisfy the law in some countries – no purchase is necessary. You will be entered into the competition by simply registering your name in our store. But, if you do this, while within the letter of the law you are of course defeating the purpose of the whole exercise. You must decide if that’s really what you want to do.
