Greenland Small Ship Photo Expedition – August 23 – 30, 2023
For two years now, I have been trying to get back to Greenland to do workshops, and just like last year, we had to push the workshops to next year again. This pandemic is so frustrating as I love Greenland, and I was hoping to get out there and photograph again.

We have lined up the perfect ship to use for the Greenland workshop, the MV Balto. I’m so excited as it is a small yacht-like ship made for Arctic exploration. There will be only 12 passengers on each trip, and they will all be photographers. Imagine the fun we will have.

We will be able to go to places many larger ships can’t. With the captain and expedition leader’s expertise, along with the ever-changing weather, we will plot courses to be at the right places in the right light to maximize our photographic experiences.
This is a trip of a lifetime! A ship of dedicated photographers in one of the most picturesque areas of the world. What you will see and experience will sound you.

This trip has only a few spots left since many folks from previous years moved their reservations to these trips. So, if you want to get back out there and photograph again aboard a luxury exploration ship, you should book now.
Polar Quest is handling the reservation for these trips. Please fill out the registration form and send it in right away. They can help guide you to the proper voyage and cabin type. Complete information, along with pricing, can be found at Rockhopper Workshops’ website. A downloadable registration form is on the site. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions.
The Immensity Of Greenland Video
A few years ago, the video below was made by Chris Sanderson and myself when we made a trip to Greenland. It pretty much shows you what you can expect. I call it The Immensity Of Greenland. I think you will see why as you view it.
Closing
This is your chance to visit one of the last remaining remote areas in the world. Accessible only by ship. There is no better ship to see this than the MV Balto. You can learn more about the Balto at the Balto website.
Please check out our other workshops on Rockhopper Workshops. We have workshops for Antarctica, Palouse Harvest, Iceland, and a new series of workshops on Fine Art Printing coming soon.
I’ll announce everything on photoPXL with links to Rockhopper. If you want to be notified by email, please visit rockhopperworkshops.com and sign up for emails.

I hope to see you in Greenland
