Antarctica 2014

I’m very excited to announce a special evening for Indianapolis area photographers.  As many of you know, I have moved all my printers and associated gear to the Digital Imaging Studio at the Indianapolis Art Center.  As explained ina previous article, I have become an artist in residence at the Art Center, where I have my workshops and work with the photography instructors there to introduce digital printing to the photography classes there.

We have several other projects we hope to launch in the coming months for local photographers as well as national workshops.  On March 9, 2023, from 5:30 PM – 9 PM, a number of the instructors at the Art Center with Michael Durr (photoPXL’s video producer) will launch Indy Captures an evening for photographers to come together to learn, share, and network.

We have three short lectures and lots of hands-on experiences.  We will have a model shoot by Art Center instructors as well as as having models that can be photographed by attendees of the events.  I’ll be taking files from these photographers and making prints to show how easy it is to make prints these days.

Refreshments will be available, and Roberts Camera will be there with some of their team to show used and new gear and answer your questions.  Guaranteed to be a good time. So, if you are from the Indy area please plan to visit.  I hope to see you there.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
