Join Michael in Antarctica

I have lead photographic workshops / expeditions to Antarctica five times previously. Just a few months from now, in January and February 2015, together with Kevin Raber and world class instructors Art Wolfe, Jackie Ranken, Joe Cornish, Christian Fletcher, Charlie Cramer, Peter Cox and Katrin Eismann I will be returning to Antarctica on two separate expeditions;  January 26 – February 4, and January 31 – February 9, 2015.

There are still a few berth available. If you’ve ever wanted to visit another planet, this is as close as you’ll get. Antarctica is unique on this planet, and very few people ever get to visit it. It’s far, it’s expensive to get there, and its only for the adventurous.

But, together with our excellent cruise operatorAntarctica XXIwe make it doable. You will fly over the rough waters of the Drake Passage in a modern twin engine jet. Two hours flying instead of two days of sea sickness with other expeditions. Once at the Antarctic Peninsula it’s smooth sailing in our safe and comfortable ship, the Ocean Nova.

When visited in mid-Antarctic summer, as we will be doing, there is 20 hours a day of fantastic light, and some of the most remarkable landscape and wildlife photography to be found on this planet.

These two expeditions, January 26 – February 4, and January 31 – February 9, 2015. These will be the last times that I visit Antarctica. If you want to share this remarkable experience with me, shooting and working alongside me and and the amazing roster of photographic instructors we will have on board, please visit Rockhopper, our partner site which will explain more, answer your questions, and can who take your booking.

I hope to meet you in Antartica soon. – Michael
