Luminous-Landscape Site Tour

Luminous-Landscape is unlike many other photo websites.  Over the last few years, we have redesigned the site and consolidated all the articles into one database and worked very hard to make a website that is easy to navigate.  This has been no small task.  We found a great and creative web team (Cratfed) to tackle the task of updating the LuLa site.  The team is young,  full of ideas and very innovative.  Just take a look at the search function on LuLa and you’ll see how they came up with a unique and fast solution to access all the content (5500 plus article and videos) on the site.

The NEW Search The Site Window
The TimeLine, click on a topic and go right to it.

As you may know, LuLa, as we affectionately like call the site, has been around since 1999.  Micheal Reichmann started this site and it grew rapidly during the digital revolution.   Our industry is changing rapidly and we will do our best to change with it.  We have a number of interesting projects underway as well as new gear to review.  In addition, we will be announcing a number of new and different workshops in the coming weeks and months.  There are also a couple of unique and rather large video projects underway.  And, let’s not forget our continual work on the Luminous-Endowment.

Today our site has numerous features that you may not be aware of.  In order that you can enjoy this site to its fullest potential, we have made this short video guide to help you understand all aspects of the site in its present form.

LuLa will continue to evolve.  In the near future, we will be adding a preferred vendor page.  This is a page that where certain vendors will offer specials on their products and services that will only be available to LuLa subscribers.  We will also be enhancing our YouTube presence.  Finally, within the next 6-10 months, we will be launching the Luminous-Landscape store.  As we introduce these new features we will post news about them on the site.

Display the video’s, Time Line

With the start of the video below we have also added a new feature called Timeline Markers.  Clicking on the Timeline Marker choice in the bottom right of the video you can show the time line and click on a topic you want to go to directly.  This is good in case you want to come back and review a certain part of the video.
