PhotoPXl is now a year old.  We have come a long way since the first day we decided to create photoPXL.com.  I am very grateful to all our readers and especially the financial contributors that help keep this site alive.  I am also thankful for the generosity of so many of this site’s authors for the great articles and sharing their wealth of knowledge with everyone.   When I created this site I did so with the idea of creating a photographic community.  We have a lot of ideas for the future and we would really like to implement these ideas and features.  The pandemic has slowed us down quite a bit as it has for everyone around the world.  In the Raber household, we certainly took a beating from it.

As we move forward and adjust to our new ways of life we have also had to adjust to how we interact with each other.  We can’t do a lot of things in person anymore or at least for the foreseeable future and thus we have moved to a virtual world.  PhotoPXL has made these adjustments too. Thus, we would like to invite you to our first major virtual event.

Please join us on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 4:00 PM (Eastern US time) for our first webinar, Meet The PhotoPXL Team. This is your chance to meet all of us virtually.  Join Chris Sanderson, Debra Fadely-Raber, Michael Durr, Mark Segal, Alain Briot, Jeff Schewe, and me for what should be a fun time getting to know who we are and what we are all about.  We will try to keep the event hosted on Zoom to about an hour in length but there is nothing stopping us from going longer if we get on a roll.

We will start out with a short history of photoPXL as well as an intro to the team.  We will then head off into discussions about what we are working on.  You’ll be able to ask questions of all of us or anyone of us.  Debra will field the questions to us.  If we get this virtual meeting thing figured out we may even be able to call upon those that raise their hand and have you ask your questions individually to the group.  We are new to this so it will be a learning experience for all of us.  That should also make it even more fun.

To participate you must register for the event at the link below.  You’ll get a webinar access link as soon as you register as well as an email confirmation and reminder on the day of the event.  Don’t hesitate.  Register today!

Also, feel free to let your friends know about this event and share with your social media friends.

You are invited to a Zoom webinar.
When: Jul 30, 2020, 04:00 PM Indiana (East)

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
