Happy Holidays

On behalf of Debra and Myself, as well as Chris Sanderson and Michael Durr, I would like to extend a great big Christmas wish to all of you.

A super big thanks go out to all the contributors of articles, content, and photographs too.  PXL would not be here without the help of the contributors of articles.  I can’t thank those that have worked so hard enough. Please consider writing for this site as that is part of the community spirit.

Also, thank you, our readers.  PhotoPXL is a dream of mine come true.  I work every day to make this a better site delivering great content to you.  This has been a tough and difficult year.  All the things we had planned as far as tutorials, travel videos, and much more were put on hold as we battled our way through a pandemic of epic proportions.  The new year 2021 looks like we may be seeing a turnaround.  Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

In the coming weeks, we will be introducing photoPXL v2.0, and we hope you like what we have planned.  In addition, we are now seeing more bookings come in for our 2021 workshops, as news of the vaccine sounds very positive.  I have just confirmed the first three workshops for 2022.  I’ll have news on these right after the new year.  I plan to have several webinars in the first month of the new year too.  I can tell you that our first webinar on January 6th will be on Polar Region Photography.  I’ll have the sign-up information published next week. In addition, we are planning fine art printing workshops at our Indianapolis Gallery.  We will announce these dates when we feel it will be safe to gather in small groups again.

There is a lot more news to share as we move forward.  I don’t want to forget to say a big thanks to everyone that has financially contributed to PXL.  Your support has made it possible for us to move forward.

Please enjoy your holiday and time with family and friends.  More than anything else, please stay safe and smart.  We are coming down the final stretch of this pandemic.  We just need to stay smart for a little more time, and we may be able to be back to a more normal life by next summer.

Merry Christmas

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
