Happy Holidays To All Our Readers

Svalbard
Svalbard

We wish you a Happy Holiday and a safe and Happy New Year.

Debra Fadely-Raber, Chris Sanderson, Michael Durr, and myself wish you the best.

It’s been another one of those years.  We made it through some significant challenges this year.   I consider how lucky I am to wake up daily with many things to look forward to.  My passion for photography has never slowed down.  Since early fall and my return, I have never been busier as I have had to move the studio and get set up in a new location.  On top of all of that, we had several home renovations done to our home.  We had contractor nightmares.  In the end, I had to oversee what was going on and it took a lot of time.  We are all finished with the home projects for now.

I have updated my Man Cave with a number of things brought home from the old studio. I’ll share what the Man Cave looks like in an upcoming article. I am focusing a lot on printing and small group workshops.  We have selected dates for our NEW printing workshops that we will announce in the next two weeks.  As an attendee of these workshops, we will hold a first-night welcome reception at our home.

Look for some new small group workshops throughout the coming months.  I enjoy these workshops as we do in the Palouse, where it’s four attendees and me.  We will explore places and opportunities that other, bigger workshops can’t.  We still have two berths open for our Greenland workshop due to a cancellation.  This is an amazing trip on a small ship.  Check it out! Also, please consider joining Steve Gosling and me for our Faroe Islands workshop.  The Faroe Islands are truly an incredible location, and we will be photographing nonstop.  We are also excited about the Fine Art Printing workshops.  These will be three-day workshops at my new studio location.

Now that things have settled down, I will be trying to post articles every two to three days.  I have so much I want to cover.  I have also been working hard on my video skills and hope to share more videos too.  We will be bringing back our On The Rocks series too.  So, there is a lot to be excited about.

For now, please enjoy the holiday week.  I wish you a safe and healthy holiday.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
