Finally, On The Rocks is back and in person again.  There is so much to catch up and it doesn’t take long for us to get right into the latest news.

The pandemic affected all of us and it has not been easy for many.  As many of you know the virus hit home with debra being seriously ill and her father passing.  So, for me, I stayed home or at the studio in isolation much of the time.  Many stores were closed as was Roberts Camera.

Like everything else, we all adapted to new ways.  Roberts Camera changed the way they did business and at PXL we started to rearrange workshops and push out more articles and videos.  We are now coming out of this pandemic.  I have now had both shots as well as many people I know.  The demand for travel and getting out to take pictures has never been higher. Now that I am vaccinated I am looking for a place to go and try out some new gear.

We discuss a lot of this in this episode.  We also have a special guest Peter Bick, from  Zionsville, IN who shares news about Olympus as well as showing off the beautiful Olympus 1500-400mm lens.  What a beauty that lens is.

Jody also shares a bombshell with us as he announces his retirement and why he thought it was time to quit.

As always we have a lot of fun and share a lot.  It’s just three guys hanging out and talking photography.  Please put your feet up and join us for a fun 30 minutes of photography talk.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
