The Master Of Light
We are excited to present John Hartman for our next Photo Chats on March 13, 2024, at 2 PM. I have known John since the seventies and he one of the most talented photographers I know. He’s a master of great business practices for photographers, but more than that, he is The Master Of Light Painting.
John Hartman has been a professional photographer and studio owner for 50 years, specializing initially in portraiture. Known in his industry as the marketing guru, his Las Vegas Marketing Boot Camps have helped thousands of photographers worldwide to grow their businesses.
John stays relevant and enthusiastic about his craft by constantly seeking out imaging techniques that set his work apart. This curiosity led him to discover light painting, which has created a very profitable product line for his studio and provided him with immense creative satisfaction.
I have taken John’s Light Painting Class a few years ago and the work we produced over the weekend was incredible. John uses a mixture of lighting tools and multiple exposures that are blended together in post processing to make one of a kind images. Absolutely fascinating, and you can do this with very little or costly equipment.
John’s Program
John’s presentation will provide an overview of how he lights, processes, and edits his images, some containing dozens of separate exposures, into a single photograph, which is not possible by any other means of image capture.
This will be a great opportunity to see how much using light can make a unique image. You don’t want to miss this one.
