Each Week, A New Photographic Print For Sale

The Chicago Bean Panorama,
The Chicago Bean Panorama,

As a Silver or Gold member, you can click on an image and see a larger version.

Like you, I am a photographer and have been selling my images for a long time.  In the last few months, as I migrated from Capture One to Lightroom, I have been re-editing several of my images.  In doing so, I am discovering some new gems.  So, I thought I would start something new.  Each week I plan to offer a new print for sale.

These will be prints from images that are not on my storefront site, RaberEYES.  These will also be prints I make for you myself.  I will print them on the Baryta Archival Paper using archival inks.  The prints will be made using the Epson 9570 printer, which is one of the finest photo inkjet printers made today.  The paper’s surface is bright and has a smooth finish.

I will sign each print and provide a Certificate Of Authenticity.  The prints will be carefully rolled, protected, and shipped to you in heavy print shipping tubes. Once you receive your print, you can visit a local framer and have the images mounted and framed the way you like.

The Chicago Bean Pano was made in Chicago at the break of dawn.  This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Chicago. The sculpture, which is officially titled Cloud Gate, is one of the world’s largest permanent outdoor art installations. The monumental work was unveiled in 2004 and quickly became one of Chicago’s most iconic sights.

Internationally acclaimed artist Anish Kapoor designed the Bean. He was an Indian-born British sculptor well-known for his large-scale outdoor works, including several with highly reflective surfaces. Cloud Gate was his first permanent public outdoor work in the United States and is widely considered his most famous.  I remember visiting it several times during the construction phase and was amazed at how it was built so it had no apparent seams and was meticulously polished.

Throughout the years, I have taken a lot of fun images of this location and may have a few more to offer in the future.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
