When I don’t have time to travel to dream locations, I enjoy taking photos locally. The only problem with photographing locally is you have to photograph similar photos again and again. That is why I thought about adding a new element to improve the familiar scene, such as the Moon. Since I developed a mobile app called “PlanIt for Photographers” (“planit” in short), I use it to help myself look for the best timing and ideal locations to get the moon photos I envision. After a couple of years, I have gotten some nice photos and have also developed techniques that are useful when photographing the Moon. I would be more than happy to share them with you.
