The 4th in our series on photographers and the environments in which they work takes us out onto the waters of Georgian Bay in Ontario. I've loved the landscape of 'the Bay' ever since first encountering it during a hiking trip in Killarney provincial park while in college and discovering the same incredible rocks and trees that inspired the iconic 'group of seven' painters a century ago. I couldn't have asked for a better guide in Sean Tamblyn, who lives out of his kayak for weeks at a time on the rocky islands of the Bay.

Check out his work at http://www.heartofstonephoto.com/

Also thanks to photographer and adventurer Ashwini Gupte for helping paddle the canoe which was our production vehicle and also for piloting the drone.Stay tuned for follow-ups where we go deeper into Sean's lighthouse photography and also talk about his experience documenting the last space shuttle launches.
