iPhone Photos App

Welcome back to the Daily Chat.  Today, I want to share with you a short video about the Photos app on my iPhone 14 ProMax.  Combined with the camera apps and unique editing apps, the Photos app is where all my image work is stored on my mobile devices.  If I take photos with my iPhone, the images are saved to the Photos app, synced to the cloud, and then available on all my devices. I can organize my photos by albums and search by description, year, month, or day.  I have over 110,000 images on my iPhone photos app, and I have room for a lot more with the 1 TB model iPhone I have.

It’s hard to believe I walk around with all these images in my pocket.  Never in my life would I have thought that would be possible.  In my normal workflow, I shoot images with the iPhone but find it more comfortable to edit on my iPad.  If I edit an image on my iPad or move it to an album, it saves the changes to the photos app.  Then, they are synced and updated on all my other devices.  How cool is that?

In upcoming videos, I’ll drill down further into many of the apps that are available on the iPhone and other mobile devices.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
