An Oldie But Goodie – Have A Laugh On Us

I was looking back though a number of old videos and came by this one and thought it would be perfect to share today.

Making vidoes is not as easy as it looks.  When you wantch a video you have no idea what goes on behind the scenes.  Today’s video was made a number of years ago and it was just one of those times that no matter how hard you try, you just can’t get the words to come out the way you want.

Michael Reichmann, Chris Sanderson and I were on a photo trip in the Palouse.  We used to do these trips regulary and always had a lot of fun.  This one afternoon we decided to take a break in a picnic area at one of the parks.  We normally used down time like this to do videos on new gear and discussions on photography topics.

After completing a few videos on Sony gear it came time to discuss the new Sigma Quattro camera.  This was a camera with a Foveon sensor in it.  No matter how hard I tried, I could not get the words to come our right.  I had really never had an issue like this before.  It was truly some kind of mental block.  It gave way to a lot of good laughs.  Every time I watch this I end up laughing and I have seen it a hundred times.

Some of you may have seen this before and I’m sure one more time won’t hurt.  And, if you have never seen it before I hope you enjoy it as much as we did the first time we watched it.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
