Both Workshops Are Sold Out

I just got back from the Palouse a little over a week ago. Wow, what a glorious trip and what great workshop attendees. You can view an article about the first workshop, I am Free – Back To The Palouse – With The Sony a7r iv and Sony a1These are non-stop dawn to sunset photography workshops.

I am happy to announce the 2022 workshops for the PalouseThe dates will be approximately the same dates as this year. The first workshop is June 13 – 18, 2022, (Sold Out) and the second is June 20 – 25, 2022 (Sold Out).  These are 4 person workshops. This allows us to travel in a large SUV – 4WD drive vehicle and go where carpool workshops can’t. We will drive hundreds of miles per day.

You’ll experience the Palouse to its fullest. There are no overlooks in the Palouse. There are rolling landscapes and big skies with the puffiest clouds you have ever seen.

This is not only a photography experience but a learning opportunity too. Kevin will help you see the composition in the landscape and help you with technical issues. In addition, there will be non-stop dialogue in the car where we can also share our photographic experiences.

We will focus on the defining icons of the Palouse. There will be lone trees, old cars, and trucks, abandoned properties, and a colorful landscape that will reveal its contours as the shadows get longer at the end of the days. There is also ample opportunity for gorgeous panoramas.

Kevin will also share some great dining places. You won’t go hungry as we explore some of the better restaurants, bakeries, and soda shops in the region.

Also, as a bonus after the workshop, you’ll receive an hour one-on-one Zoom call with Kevin. This will happen several weeks after the workshop. We will go over your images and discuss all aspects of post-processing. This a chance to explore your keepers further and talk about the way to bring out the most in each image.

Because this such a small and intimate workshop it sells out quickly. Register today to be part of next year’s Palouse summer workshop. You’ll come home with portfolio-worthy images and you’ll make some new friends that I’m sure you will stay in touch with well after the workshop.

Photography is my passion and has been for 45 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of pictures taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through Rockhopper Workshops and other projects as well as teaching at my Gallery in Indianapolis.
