If you want to know what’s going on in the photography world – whether you’re shooting landscapes, fine art, or perhaps feel like going a little “hybrid”…
From 14-17 March 2026, The Photography & Video Show returns to Hall 5 of the NEC in Birmingham, (England) and this year’s edition is shaping up to be the biggest yet.
We’re talking 500 plus sessions and 250 plus brands under one roof. There’s a HUGE push into motion, storytelling and hybrid creation signaling what the future of professional image making holds.
The Gear Floor
The exhibitor list reads like a greatest hits of the imaging world – Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, OM System, Sigma, Tamron, Manfrotto, Benro, Godox, Nanlite, Profoto, Laowa, Accsoon, Atomos, Amaran, Hollyland, Zoom, Lacie, Shimoda, and more.
It’s a place for stills shooters, filmmakers, and hybrid creators to ALL find their people.
Major UK retailers Wex Photo Video, London Camera Exchange, and CameraWorld will also be on the floor with “show only” pricing. (Hopefully there’ll be some good deals!)
As Digital Camera World notes, these deals have become a real reason photographers seem to time their big purchases around the show.
For attendees, this means they can see:
- Side-by-side comparison of every current mirrorless flagships and mid-range bodies
- Hands-on time with fast primes, long telephotos, and exciting zooms across multiple camera systems
- Access to pros, support, lighting, color-critical monitors, and printing/finishing solutions – all assembled in one hall

Talks and Workshops Worth Checking Out
The speakers page lists the full roster with filters by genre and day. From a LuLa perspective, a few names stick out to check out:
- Charlie Waite – one of the UK’s most respected landscape photographers, on the main headliner program
- Nigel Danson – landscape photographer and YouTube educator, confirmed on the speakers listing; great for field craft and digital workflow
- Joe Cornish – SIGMA Ambassador, bringing decades of large-format and landscape experience to the stage
- Keith Cooper – architectural photographer and printmaker; his sessions on printing and color management are essential for fine-art workers
- Rachel Bigsby, Dani Connor, Sophie Darlington ASC – wildlife specialists with real-world field perspective on long lenses and storytelling in tough conditions and cinematography?
The program also covers portrait, wedding, commercial, sports, and creative genres – Lindsay Adler, Rebecca Carpenter, Hannah Couzens, and Brendan Barry (who builds cameras from scratch!) round out the extensive lineup.

The Show Goes Cinematic
This is somewhat new, there’s a real focus on motion. We assume to help us all become more evolved shooters – hybrid shooters if you will.
The 2026 show is leaning hard into motion, anchored by a paid in-depth workshop led by Finnish DP Jenni Suitiala. This is a professional filmmaking workshop going over storytelling, lighting craft, broadcast and film workflows.
If motion is already part of your practice or you want it to be, this is worth spending some time at.
