With Michael Reichmann

– Sorry, NOW SOLD OUT –

Two cabins (4 berths) have just become available on my May 2016 Galapagos Photography Cruise  with world-famous wildlife photographer Andy Biggs.

Andy is a close friend, and last summer we decided to do a small private Galapagos trip for ourselves in the Spring of 2016. It would include a few friends and a small number of enthusiastic photographers. This voyage sold out right away, but as sometimes happens, we’ve just had a couple of cancellations. This means that two cabins (4 berths) are now available.

This is a link to the full information page on Andy’s site. Andy is handling the registrations and is able to answer any questions that you might have. Full voyage information, sign-up, as well as how to reach Andy are found on that page. You can also reach me with any questions at michael@luminous-landscape.com. Andy is taking care of the bookings though.

More About the Trip

This is not a Luminous Landscape workshop. It is a private trip organised by Andy and me. Andy has been to The Galapagos a number of times while conducting his own workshops and expeditions. When we planned this trip we also agreed that the only way to do it was in style.

Above is the ship that we have hired, the Majestic Galapagos Yacht. Visit the ship’s page and you’ll see that this is a remarkable vessel – luxurious, intimate and able to get us to the remotest locations.

Please note as well that this voyage is not a photography workshop per-se. It is intended as a chance for a dozen photographers, possibly including their non-photographer spouses, to visit one of the world’s most exotic locations in the comfort of a five-star ship. Besides Andy and myself there will be just 10 other passengers. Andy and I eat, sleep, and breathe nature and landscape photography. This means that we will be there 24/7 during the trip to work closely with you on your photography if that’s what you desire. Everything from one-on-one instruction and advice, to portfolio reviews and image processing instructions and suggestions. Or, just kick back and do your own thing.

The cost of this trip is U.S. $9,995 per person, excluding airfare from your home to Guayaquil, Ecuador, our jumping off point. The same rate applies for each participant regardless of whether he or she is doing photography or not. This is an all-inclusive cost, with hotels in Guayaquil before and after the sailing, the flight to the Galapagos to join The Majestic, and all meals and beverages during the voyage.

The voyage dates are May 15 – 24, 2016, just a few months from now.

These newly-available berths will likely sell very quickly, so if you are able to join Andy and me and a small group of passionate photographers for an experience of a lifetime, visit Andy’s full information page, get your questions answered and become a member of this expedition.

I hope to meet you in The Galapagos in May.
