This article is more about the related items of interest than about the printer itself, though they are intimately connected. I say this because the printer has already been well-reviewed (Keith Cooper, NorthLight Images, and Scott Martin, Onsight). As well, Marcin Kaluza has written a number of insightful contributions on the new line of Canon printers responding to various topics in this website’s Forum. Hence I shall expend much less space on what has already been said, but rather consider this an experience report on the underlying and cooperating factors that give rise to the excellent prints that the Canon Pro-1000 and Pro-2000 are capable of delivering.
