Part Three of a Three Part Series

In thefirstof the three part series on ‘Finding Your Level And Moving On’ we defined the levels. In thesecond partwe discussed how to get the feedback that would help you assess your own level, both technically and aesthetically. Now comes the payoff. It’s time to do something with this information.

It would be presumptuous to suggest that I can give you everything you need to know to improve your photography, all in one easy lesson. I’m neither the ideal person to tell you everything you need to do, nor is this the venue to do so. Entire photographic university courses are not sufficient to do that.

If that’s the case though, just what the hell use am I to you? I decided that some changes are difficult, others are slow and more are not powerful enough to make fundamental changes to one’s work. Some strategies and exercises could be both practical and produce significant results. I started by asking myself...
