Here it is. Our biggest contest ever, and probably the most valuable and exciting that any photographic web site has ever offered. The prize is a two weekphotographic expedition and workshop to Antarcticain January, 2009.

The value of this berth on my next and possible last Antarctic expedition is US $13,800 – and with airfare from anywhere in the world included this grand prize is worth more than US $15,000.

So – how do you enter? All you need to do is buy our critically acclaimed video tutorialFrom Camera to Print. That’s it. Your purchase automatically enters you in the contest. The contest closes on December 31, 2007 and on January 1, 2008 the winner will be announced. How’sthatfor a New Year’s present?

The reason is simple. To entice you to purchaseFrom Camera to Print. Thousands of photographers have already downloaded this 6.5 hours live video tutorial by printing expertsJeff ScheweandMichael Reichmann. But there are hundreds of thousands of you who haven’t, and we therefore want to find a way to catch your attention and for you to make the purchase.

That’s the end of the pitch. Buy the tutorial. You’ll be automatically entered in the Antarctic Expedition contest. You’ll have a great photographic resource, we’ll make some money, and there’s a chance that you might be going on an Antarctic adventure in January 2009. Sounds like a hell of a deal to me.

The Fine Print

There’s always fine print, right? Here it is.

This contest is open to anyone in the world, except where prohibited by law. The prize must be accepted as awarded. There is no cash value. If any governmental agency levies any tax on the prize its payment will be the prize winner’s sole responsibility. The winner will also be responsible for miscellaneous costs such as hotels on the way to and from southern Argentina, airport taxes, visa and passport fees, etc .

If you have already purchasedFrom Camera to Printyou don’t need to do a thing. You are already entered in the contest. Everyone who has purchased the download at any time prior to December 31, 2007 is automatically in the running.

And finally, to satisfy the law in some countries – no purchase is necessary. You will be entered into the competition by simply registering your name in our store. But, if you do this, while within the letter of the law you are of course defeating the purpose of the whole exercise. You must decide if that’s really what you want to do.

EnjoyFrom Camera to Print. Learn about printing from the experts. Dream about winning an Antarctic expedition.
